Hi there! I’m Lisa—wife, mom of four, grandma of two (with another on the way!), and the creative heart behind Northern Accents.

I grew up in Iowa, where I spent a lot of time playing different sports, which definitely shaped who I am today. I’ve been working in marketing, advertising, and graphic/web design for over 22 years, but I’ve always loved getting my hands into creative projects.

Now I live in a small Minnesota town (we’re talking under 2,000 people!), and in 2018 I started Northern Accents as a way to share that creative passion.

These days, you’ll find me designing, crafting, and trying new ideas—then bringing them to life on my website and at local craft fairs. My favorite part? Meeting new people, hearing their stories, and spotting my creations out in the world.
